Ms. Maurya
Teacher at Queensway Middle School, loves geography
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Queensway Middle School
- Since 2003
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Maurya
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Maurya: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me geography in 2005 at Queensway Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
