Ms. Matthews
16 years teaching environmental science in Flint
- 🇺🇸 Flint, Michigan, United States
- Flint Primary School
- Since 2017
- English, French
For nine years I have been the environmental science teacher at Flint Primary School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Matthews
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Matthews: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
