Ms. Matthews
38 years teaching art in Joliet
- 🇺🇸 Joliet, Illinois, United States
- Mount Pleasant High School
- Since 1995
- English
I teach art at Mount Pleasant High School in Joliet since 1995. Most days I teach Year 7, and I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I've run the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Matthews
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Matthews: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
