I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,490 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ms. Martínez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Martínez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me drama in 2001 at Kingsway Technical College. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

You taught me drama in 2002 at Kingsway Technical College. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
