Ms. Martinez
Art and Spanish teacher, Vancouver
- 🇨🇦 Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
- 1999 to 2019
- English
For 20 years I was the art teacher at Phoenix Academy. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I played music while people worked.
More about Ms. Martinez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Ms. Martinez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me art in 2013 at Phoenix Academy. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Greetings from Rome.

I failed art twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Warsaw.
