Ms. Marquez
34 years teaching statistics in Houston
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Houston Grammar School
- 1980 to 1999
- English
For 19 years I was the statistics teacher at Houston Grammar School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 650 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Marquez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Marquez: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me statistics in 1994 at Houston Grammar School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
