Ms. Marquez
Accounting teacher at Willow Creek Girls' School, 2003 to 2025

I taught accounting at Willow Creek Girls' School in Joliet from 2003 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Marquez
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
