I taught geography at Parkside Middle School in Belo Horizonte from 2009 to 2021. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 400 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Marques: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
