I teach physical education and mathematics at Baobab Public School, Accra. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Manu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Manu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
