Ms. Maldonado
Environmental science and geography teacher, Tijuana
- 🇲🇽 Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico
- Harmony Middle School

I teach environmental science at Harmony Middle School in Tijuana since 1995. Most days I teach first-year students, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ms. Maldonado
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Maldonado: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
