Ms. Maina
Mathematics teacher at Hillcrest Grammar School, 2011 to 2025

Hillcrest Grammar School was my second home. I taught mathematics there from 2011 to 2025, mostly Grade 8.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

I was in your Grade 8 class in 2019. You believed I could do it before I did! Greetings from Johannesburg.

You taught me mathematics in 2015 at Hillcrest Grammar School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
