Ms. Maina
Environmental science and statistics teacher, Thika
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Baobab Primary School
- 2006 to 2023
- English, Swahili
I taught environmental science at Baobab Primary School in Thika from 2006 to 2023. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
More about Ms. Maina
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Maina: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
