Ms. Mai

34 years teaching mathematics in Allentown

  • 🇺🇸 Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States
  • Allentown High School
  • Since 1978
  • English, Vietnamese
For 48 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Allentown High School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Ms. Mai

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
