Ms. Mahmud
History and physical education teacher, Sylhet
- 🇧🇩 Sylhet, Sylhet, Bangladesh
- Hope High School
- 2004 to 2023
- English, Bengali, Spanish
For 19 years I was the history teacher at Hope High School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Mahmud
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me history in 2018 at Hope High School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Truly.
