I taught music at Riverside Middle School in Howrah from 1983 to 1996. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never turned anyone away.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.

What gifts mean to Ms. Mahmud: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
