Ms. MacKenna
Retired art teacher from Limerick Public School
- 🇮🇪 Limerick, Munster, Ireland
- 2011 to 2020
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Ms. MacKenna
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. MacKenna: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
