Ms. Macías
Taught French at Los Angeles Secondary School
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Secondary School
- 1997 to 2009
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Ms. Macías
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Ms. Macías: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
