For ten years I was the music teacher at San Cristóbal de las Casas Grammar School. I taught Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ms. Macías
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Macías: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
