Ms. Macharia
Retired physical education teacher from Thika Middle School

I taught physical education at Thika Middle School in Thika from 1986 to 2014. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 1,460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ms. Macharia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
