I taught home economics at Nairobi Public School in Nairobi from 1980 to 1992. Most days I taught teenagers, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
