I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Machado
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Machado: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me accounting in 2024 at Elmwood Middle School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
