For 26 years I was the English literature teacher at Liberty Primary School. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Ms. Lopez
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Lopez: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
