For 33 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Hồ Chí Minh City Secondary School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Lieu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Lieu: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
