I teach English literature at Medan Middle School in Medan since 1983. Most days I teach Year 7, and I play music while people worked.
Over the years I've had 1,200 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
