Summit Primary School was my second home. I taught history there from 1986 to 2002, mostly mixed-ability classes. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
