I taught physics and chemistry at St. Joseph's High School, Ballarat. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
What gifts mean to Ms. Le: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
