I taught biology at Phoenix Boys' School in Hồ Chí Minh City from 1999 to 2012. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 650 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Ms. Le: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
