Ms. Lawal
Taught social studies at Ikeja Middle School
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Middle School
- 2001 to 2017
- English, Yoruba
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ms. Lawal
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Lawal: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
