I taught social studies at Peshawar Boys' School in Peshawar from 1979 to 1998. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
