Taught history at Veracruz Academy

For eight years I was the history teacher at Veracruz Academy. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Lara
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
