I teach physical education and Spanish at Bamboo Academy, San Nicolás de los Garza. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Lara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
