Ms. Lara
Retired history teacher from Sunrise Academy
- 🇺🇸 Syracuse, New York, United States
- Sunrise Academy
- 1986 to 1994
- English, Spanish
I taught history at Sunrise Academy in Syracuse from 1986 to 1994. Most days I taught Year 9, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Ms. Lara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Lara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your Year 9 class in 2008. You believed I could do it before I did! Truly.
