I taught music at Harbor Girls' School in Sydney from 1992 to 2008. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I learned every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

What gifts mean to Ms. Lane: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
