Ms. Laine
Design and technology teacher at Toronto High School, 2016 to 2025
- 🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Toronto High School
- 2016 to 2025
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Laine
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Laine: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me design and technology in 2017 at Toronto High School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped!

You taught me design and technology in 2025 at Toronto High School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam!
