For 47 years I have been the religious studies teacher at Central Boys' School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
