Ms. Kwak

15 years teaching physics in Houston

🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
Bayview Boys' School
1979 to 1997
English

I taught physics at Bayview Boys' School in Houston from 1979 to 1997. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I learned every name in the first week. Over the years I had 950 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Ms. Kwak

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kwak: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
