I taught design and technology at Riverside Primary School in Mumbai from 2005 to 2020. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Kushwaha
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kushwaha: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
