Ms. Kuipers
23 years teaching history in Haarlem
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Unity Secondary School
- 2005 to 2014
- English, Dutch
I taught history at Unity Secondary School in Haarlem from 2005 to 2014. Most days I taught teenagers, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Kuipers
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kuipers: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me history in 2005 at Unity Secondary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand

I was in your teenagers class in 2018. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Salé.
