Ms. Krause
Geography and Spanish teacher, Duisburg
- 🇩🇪 Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
- Baobab Academy
- Since 2001
- German
For 25 years I have been the geography teacher at Baobab Academy. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Krause
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ms. Krause: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me geography in 2022 at Baobab Academy. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on Greetings from Athens.

You probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2018. I remember you. Truly.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2002. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.

You taught me geography in 2008 at Baobab Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
