I taught history at Mount Pleasant Public School in Novosibirsk from 1997 to 2005. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 270 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kovalchuk: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
