For 19 years I was the design and technology teacher at Istanbul High School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
More about Ms. Koç
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Koç: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
