Ms. Kirby
30 years teaching economics in Birmingham
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Heritage Secondary School
- Since 1989
- English
I teach economics at Heritage Secondary School in Birmingham since 1989. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ms. Kirby
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kirby: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me economics in 1993 at Heritage Secondary School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
