Ms. Kipchoge
37 years teaching art in Embakasi
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Embakasi Girls' School
- 2003 to 2014
- English
For eleven years I was the art teacher at Embakasi Girls' School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ms. Kipchoge
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kipchoge: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me art in 2010 at Embakasi Girls' School. I still remember the end-of-term party.
