For 24 years I was the social studies teacher at Embakasi Girls' School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,370 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
