Ms. Kimani
Teacher at Gateway Academy, loves environmental science
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Gateway Academy
- 1979 to 2014
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
More about Ms. Kimani
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me environmental science in 1985 at Gateway Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
