Ms. Khoury
28 years teaching home economics in Shubra
- 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt
- Shubra High School
- 1996 to 2025
- English, Arabic
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,040 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Ms. Khoury: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
