Ms. Khatun
Computer science and French teacher, Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Bayview Girls' School
- Since 1981
- English, Bengali
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 45 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

What gifts mean to Ms. Khatun: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your Grade 11 class in 1990. You believed I could do it before I did.

You taught me computer science in 2005 at Bayview Girls' School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on
