I taught physical education at Bengaluru Secondary School in Bengaluru from 2013 to 2022. Most days I taught Year 7, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
