For 35 years I have been the history teacher at Cairo Boys' School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Ms. Khalil
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Khalil: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
