Ms. Kennedy
36 years teaching social studies in Bakersfield
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Bakersfield Technical College
- 1995 to 2003
- English
For eight years I was the social studies teacher at Bakersfield Technical College. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ms. Kennedy
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ms. Kennedy: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
